Welcome to Mont21
As a Montessori practitioner and with many years of running my own schools, I understand every child is a unique individual with different characteristics, needs, abilities and interests that require careful nurturing and development during their most formative years. The current 'one-size-fits-all' driven approach to academic learning fails to meet these attributes that will be so essential for the future.
There are many reasons why parents are increasingly looking for alternative ways of educating their children, whether this is because of anxiety, bullying, social interaction, neurodivergence, disability, dissatisfaction with normal school or personal and family lifestyle.

This has been further exemplified by the pandemic where working from home has become common place and a realisation that children no longer needed to be in physical classroom to learn and to achieve a good education.

I believe that both parent and child should have a choice of where and how to learn, whatever suits them best whether full-time in the hub, a mixture of online and in-person, only online or as support with homeschooling.
